Clarification: I do miss y'all more than I miss Pandora :)!

Lying awake, as I do many a night, I realized that I probably "mis-spoke" on an earlier post, as is my want :S...

Of course, I miss all my wonderful family and friends more than I miss Pandora. :)  For as long as I can remember (which, granted, isn't very long with my memory), I have said goodbye to people.  I miss my dear, soul-mates of Yale, my friends from high school (pretty much all boys, since I got to keep being friends with Heidi :)...), the dear folk from my Kearns ward, beloved friends from our Kaysville area (homeschoolers and "churchies"), and even the new ones I made in our short stay in West Jordan.

And, of course, there is dear family!

However, I have found that saying goodbye is such a part of life, that we learn to live with it.  Family in Oregon, Maine and Idaho feel like extensions of love reaching out.  I love when we can get together, but, as it is with life, we have learned that those get-togethers are not as frequent as we would wish...

...so we learn to live apart :), and rejoice in the concept of eternity!

I love the connections, looking at family and friends on Q-dawg's facebook, skyping, and responses back and forth on this blog. It is like was said in one of the talks of conference:  these are such marvelous tools for keeping together when other means of communication are not possible!

I just haven't learned to live apart from the significantly less-significant blessing of Pandora :).  Sigh.
